Please note that possession of the lines plan does not grant permission to build a Cape Cod Knockabout. The rights to the design is the transferable intellectual property of the designer and may be licensed to specific builders for a fee. The use of the lines plans and offsets to build your own Knockabout without the permission of the current rights holder may place you in a position to be sued. The availability of this set of lines plans is for purposes of boat measurement, if any major repair work is performed, or for your own personal pleasure. Feel free to plot out the lines and hang them on the wall or just study them for a few minutes to understand what is involved in a lines plan.
